Nisha must leave her sheltered and protected life. It’s not just that. There is the confusion as well, of her own identity. Nisha is half-Muslim half Hindu.

 

When Nisha’s father realises it’s too dangerous to stay in Pakistan, they leave by train and then they walk. They become refugees. Nisha loses her mother.

But she still believes she can put herself back together.
